One of the most anticipated products of the year, Apple’s latest iPhone release has a number of new features. The iPhone 16 will be the first Apple phone built for artificial intelligence with the introduction of Apple Intelligence, which allows users to build text and images with language prompts.
Among other improvements, the iPhone 16 will also feature a camera control feature in the form of a button that, when clicked, activates “visual intelligence.” This means that if the camera is pointed at a restaurant, the user will be able to see reviews, the menu and other information about the establishment, or if the camera is pointed at a dog, the user will be able to see the dog’s breed.
Siri will also be more advanced, able to use text messages from the user, allowing it to remind them of TV or movie recommendations from a friend, for example. The voice assistant will also be better at following commands, so that if someone were to tell Siri to send photos of a barbecue to a friend, it would know exactly who to send it to and which photos.
In addition to the software changes, iPhone 16 also has a new design. It now comes in white, black, teal, ultramarine and pink, and in two sizes: 6.1 inches for the regular size and 6.7 inches for the iPhone 16 Plus.
The iPhone 16 is available for pre-order starting September 13 and will be available in stores from September 20.
