When is the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show?
On Wednesday, the official Victoria’s Secret Instagram account posted a video featuring Tyra Banks and Gigi Hadid. Both models have walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in the past — Banks has walked the runway as an Angel in nine shows, while Hadid has walked the runway three times for the retailer.
The video announced the location and date of the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which will be held on October 15 in New York City.

Candice Swanepoel
The supermodel is returning to the brand after appearing in 11 shows. She became a VS Angel in 2010. In 2013, she wore the VS Fantasy Bra, which was worth $10 million at the time. During her 20-year career, she has walked the runway for Fendi, Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, Oscar de la Renta, Elie Saab and more.
Taylor Hill
Taylor Hill has walked the runway at five consecutive Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows, including the 2018 Holiday Special. She became a VS Angel in 2015. Hill has modeled for designers and brands such as Ralph Lauren, Chanel, Versace, and Valentino, among many others.

Imaan Hamam
Imaan Hammam has only participated in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show once — the 2014 show in London. The model has walked the runway for brands and fashion houses such as Alexander McQueen, Ralph Lauren, Prada, Michael Kors and Jean Paul Gaultier, among many others.
Paloma Elsesser
Paloma Elsesser will make her Victoria’s Secret runway debut at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in October 2024. The model has walked the runway for designers and brands including Hermès, Mugler, Ferragamo and Carolina Herrera, among many more.

More actors will be added to the cast before the October show.
What’s different about the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show?
“We’ve read your comments and heard you,” read a post from the company’s official Instagram account shared in May. “The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is back and will reflect who we are today, plus everything you know and love: the glamour, runway, wings, musical entertainment and more. Stay tuned… it only gets more iconic from here.”
The last Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show took place in 2018 and featured Victoria’s Secret Angels and musical performances from Shawn Mendes, Rita Ora, The Chainsmokers, Bebe Rexha, Halsey, Leela James, Kelsea Ballerini and The Struts. The 2019 show was canceled after the company was “plagued by allegations of workplace toxicity amid the rising #MeToo movement,” WWD previously reported.
In 2023, Victoria’s Secret returned to the small screen with “The Victoria’s Secret World Tour,” which was available on Amazon Prime’s streaming platform. Raúl Martinez, executive vice president and chief creative director of Victoria’s Secret, told WWD that the film was “the ultimate expression of the transformation of the Victoria’s Secret brand.”
In a joint interview in July, Janie Schaffer, Chief Design and Creative Officer, and Sarah Sylvester, Executive Vice President of Marketing, discussed their plans for the return of the Victoria’s Secret fashion show in 2024.
“We’ve come a long way as a company over the last three years and we’ve really transformed. We’re really happy with where we are as a brand and feel super confident,” Schaffer said. “This is really a celebration of everything we’ve done. Trust me, we have such super fans that there’s an element of people saying, ‘You’re bringing it back exactly the way it was. Bring back the exact same models and don’t change a thing!'” she added.
Schaffer joined the Victoria’s Secret team in 2008, left in 2012 and returned to the company in 2020.
