Next week on Coronation Street, Adam turns to the dark side as he allies with Harvey to bring down Damon.

Elsewhere, Liam’s bullying continues, the truth about Joseph’s health is revealed, and Asha makes a confession to Aadi.

1. Damon visits Harvey

Damon is elated after spending the night with Sarah, who suggests he should get to know her family better over drinks at the Bistro. He agrees, but reveals that he must first visit Harvey in prison.

In the prison visiting room, the brothers clash over the pressure Harvey is putting on Damon to do a criminal job. Harvey takes things a step further by threatening Sarah, which sends Damon into a rage. Dee Dee visits a customer across the room and watches the drama unfold.

2. Adam and Sarah clash in the Bistro

Gail, Audrey and Nick express their disapproval of Sarah and Damon’s relationship when the couple drop by for a drink at the Bistro. The simmering tension is interrupted when Adam arrives and reveals that he knows about Damon’s visit to Harvey.

Adam makes it clear that he doesn’t want Damon anywhere near Harry, but as he clashes with Sarah, he is quickly reminded that Harry is not his son.

Adam is angry about the argument and makes an appointment himself to visit Harvey, who is clearly ready to make a deal with the devil.

3. Adam receives a sinister threat

Adam proceeds to meet Harvey in prison. He claims he has reviewed Harvey’s files and believes the killer has good arguments for an appeal.

Harvey proves he’s as dangerous as ever and warns Adam that the hitman dealing with Damon will target him too if he lets him down on the case.

4. Adam crosses another line

Damon tries to get back on better terms with Adam, unaware of his continued scheming.

Adam meets one of Harvey’s associates. He hands over a stack of money and orders the crook to scare Damon off. However, Adam’s discomfort with the situation becomes apparent afterwards when he has a panic attack.

5. Gemma is concerned about Joseph’s health

Joseph complains that he has a fever. Although Gemma is sympathetic, Chesney sends his son away, insisting that everything is fine.

Gemma remains unsure about the situation, but Paul advises not to waver in light of her current situation with social services.

Gemma refuses to let this go and shares her concerns with Dr Gaddas when she sees her in the cafe. Chesney overhears and is furious with Gemma, who was previously warned about wasting time when she took Joseph to hospital twice last year.

6. Linda causes problems between Gemma and Chesney

Linda returns to Weatherfield and gives Chesney a business card for a family lawyer, believing this is necessary after the recent tensions between him and Gemma. Chesney refuses to talk about it.

Gemma finds the card and accuses Chesney of plotting to take the children from her. Chesney insists this is not the case and Linda admits she was responsible as she fears Gemma could be a risk to the children.

7. Joseph collapses

Chesney is forced to take Joseph home from school early when he receives a call because the youngster is not feeling well. Joseph’s health problems come to a head at home when he collapses on the couch and is on the verge of losing consciousness.

Joseph is rushed to the hospital, where he is diagnosed with Lyme disease. It is revealed that he contracted it two months ago during a camping trip, which explains his recent mysterious symptoms.

8. Chesney and Gemma’s family faces an uncertain future

Joseph wakes up in the hospital and his loved ones are assured that he will make a full recovery. The good news continues when social services inform Gemma that she has been cleared up about the alleged poisoning incident and can move back home.

Chesney is stunned when Joseph insists he wants to live with Gemma instead of him as she was the only one who thought he was ill.

9. Liam skips school

Liam pretends to go to school, but once Maria and Gary stop watching him, he sneaks back to the flat.

Liam covers his tracks by logging into the school’s website and reporting himself absent due to illness. His plan backfires when the school calls Maria and informs her that Liam hasn’t been seen during classes in a week.

10. Mason focuses on Liam again

Maria forces Liam to go to school, but the teen’s worst fears come true when Mason targets him again.

Mason humiliates Liam by stealing his phone and forcing him to beg for it back. The other kids laugh as Mason refuses to hand it back – also witnessed by Dylan, who does nothing to defend his former friend.

Later, Mason grabs Liam and pins him against a wall. Desperate for an escape, Liam sets off the school fire alarm.

11. Asha makes a confession

Aadi is still recovering in hospital after a carbon monoxide scare in his flat. Dev insists that Aadi should not be allowed to return to the flat and invites him to move back home.

Aadi feels guilty when Asha reveals that she has broken up with Nina, who has moved on after the recent kissing drama.

Asha helps Aadi pack his flat, but Aadi is confused when he finds her bracelet on the floor. Asha is forced to admit that she visited the flat when he was unconscious. She stormed out, not realizing the danger he was in.

Meanwhile, Roy invites Nina to move back into her old bedroom in the café flat.

12. Cassie explains her actions

Cassie updates Evelyn by revealing that she has donated the money she stole from Terry to a dog charity. She adds that she only attacked him because he was about to hurt the dogs.

Later, Tyrone reveals that Fiz has invited him to join her as she takes a course in Italy. Tyrone thinks about it, but hesitates to leave Hope and Ruby with the irresponsible Cassie for two weeks.

13. Cassie messes up again

Tyrone continues with the trip, but his fears about Cassie’s behavior begin to come true when she allows Ruby to get nail extensions and gives her chips for breakfast.

The school raises the alarm with Evelyn about Cassie’s antics. Evelyn confronts Cassie and accuses her of being a hindrance when it comes to caring for the girls.

14. Lauren’s boyfriend mystery continues

Max invites Lauren for tea, but she feels awkward when Sabrina suggests she invite her mystery boyfriend too.

Sabrina tells Max that she suspects Lauren is lying about having a boyfriend. Max questions Lauren about this, causing her to storm out of the cafe in tears.

15. Max’s suspicions grow

Lauren goes to the Bistro for lunch with Max and Sabrina and announces that she has dumped her boyfriend.

Later, Max watches with interest as Lauren speaks to Daniel on the street. Daniel places a reassuring hand on Lauren’s shoulder, but will Max misinterpret this?

16. Bernie is coming back

Bernie is released from prison after her short stint behind bars.

She is delighted to find her family at The Rovers, where they have thrown her a surprise ‘welcome home’ party.
