One hundred and twenty business leaders have confirmed they will support Labor in the general election.
As well as offering support to Labor in the letter, the business leaders criticize the Conservatives for their management of the economy, claiming it is “plagued by instability, stagnation and a lack of long-term focus”. The letter reads: “Labour has shown that it has changed and is committed to working with business to realize Britain’s full economic potential. We must now give it the chance to change the country and lead Britain into the future.”
Labor routinely calls for business support during election campaigns in an attempt to convince voters of its qualifications to manage the economy.
The Conservatives were not impressed.
