The best all-inclusive hotels in Tenerife

Tenerife is a laid-back destination at its best, but if you want the maximum holiday with the least amount of fuss, all-inclusive is the way to go. The island has an abundance of hotels and resorts where everything is paid for in advance, meaning you can focus on pampering yourself 24/7 instead of minding the cat. Opt for an adults-only retreat that combines wellness and gastronomy with chic design, or book a family-friendly getaway that combines lavish facilities with exceptionally friendly service.

Resorts and hotels overlooking the beach and ocean place you between the island’s picturesque coastline and the dramatic volcanic, largely forested interior, home to Spain’s highest peak, Mount Teide. Whether you’re looking for budget accommodation or five-star accommodation in this postcard-perfect setting – including the best for family-friendly facilities, activities, beach access, impressive pools, spas and tennis courts – here’s our guide to the best all-inclusive hotels in Tenerife, in areas such as Costa Adeje, Playa Paraíso and Playa de Las Américas.

Great Melia Palace of Isora

This attractive resort overlooks a wide promenade on Tenerife’s tranquil west coast. Painted in neutral tones, the resort is a veritable village of five-storey buildings and towers. The resort has an air of Andalusian elegance combined with a touch of Moorish mystery and exotic flair. The jewel in the crown is a huge saltwater infinity pool, which takes up almost the entire 400 metres of the resort’s frontage. There is a full-service spa, gym and sports centre. Relaxation is key, but for the energetic there is a full range of daily activities for adults, while a dedicated children’s club keeps the youngsters entertained. Upgrade for great views and Red Level benefits, including butler service, plus an exclusive lounge, restaurant and pool.

The spacious rooms are unpretentious and have furnished balconies or terraces. Most meals are served in the relaxed buffet restaurant, which has multiple food stations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of an all-inclusive holiday to Tenerife?

An all-inclusive holiday means that you pre-pay for your room, food and drinks before you leave (alcohol is usually included, but some premium brands can incur an extra charge). This means you don’t have to worry about bills piling up during your trip; especially useful if you’re travelling with a large family. However, most of these hotels also offer half-board options (breakfast and lunch or dinner) if you want a bit more flexibility with dining out of the resort.

How do I choose the best all-inclusive resort in Tenerife?

The best way to find a great hotel is to do your research. You can do this by checking out all the options we’ve listed in our expert guide on this page (all visited and checked), or by getting a recommendation from a trusted friend; Tenerife is a popular destination (especially for families), so there are plenty of people out there who will have recommendations for you.
