Season 21 of ‘The Bachelorette’ features suitor Aaron Erb, who is the twin brother of another former ‘Bachelorette’ contestant

The Bachelorette is back — and with some familiar faces!

Season 21 follows Jenn Tran’s search for love after she lost her job in week seven of Joey Graziadei’s season of The BachelorAmong her 25 suitors this season is Aaron Erb, the twin brother of Noah Erb, a former Bachelorette participant himself.

Aaron announced that he is joining the cast of The Bachelorette in June 2024, ushering in his new era as the “lovERBoy.”

“Sorry I’ve been MIA for a bit trying to find this thing called love 💗,” he wrote alongside a headshot of himself for the show. “Excited to announce the lovERBoy has entered the chat.”

Besides his work as an engineer, Aaron is passionate about golf and fitness and is ready to find love.

“When Aaron isn’t hard at work building satellites to send into space, he enjoys spending time on the lake, playing volleyball and perfecting his golf game,” his official ABC bio reads. “This engineer says he’s emotionally available and ready to meet the girl of his dreams.”

So who is Aaron Erb? Here’s everything you need to know about one of the 25 men vying for Jenn’s heart — and his relationship with a former Bachelor Nation contestant.

He’s from Oklahoma

Aaron grew up in Tulsa, Okla., with his 11 siblings. After graduating from Oklahoma State University, Aaron moved to Manhattan Beach, Calif., where he lived on and off for seven years.

In October 2023, Aaron bought a house in Tulsa and moved back home, where most of his family lives, including his brother Noah.

“After 7 years away, it feels good to come home to a place I love and know,” he wrote on Instagram alongside photos of him in front of his home. “Excited for a fresh start and can’t wait to fill this house with friends, memories and lots of fresh coffee smells 😊.”

He is an aerospace engineer

Aaron graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in fire safety and security engineering, according to his LinkedIn. Since then, he has worked as a systems safety engineer for United Launch Alliance and, most recently, as a spacecraft systems engineer for Northrop Grumman.

“I love everything about aviation, it’s so cool,” Aaron said in his Bachelorette promotional video clip.

Aaron’s twin brother, Noah Erb, appeared on The Bachelorette And Bachelor in Paradise

Aaron isn’t the only Erb making his reality debut on The BacheloretteHis twin brother, Noah, first joined Bachelor Nation in season 16 before being sent home in week seven. He went on to star in the cast of Bachelor in Paradise season 7.

Although Noah found no love on The Bachelorettehe was more successful on Bachelor in Paradise where he started dating a former Bachelor education Abigail Heringer. The two split from the show, but got back together shortly after and got engaged in August 2023.

The couple plans to marry in the fall of 2024 in Noah’s hometown of Tulsa, Abigail told PEOPLE in May.

He is close to his family, including his 11 brothers and sisters

Noah isn’t Aaron’s only sibling. The Tulsa native has 10 other brothers and sisters and is an uncle to at least eight nieces and nephews, whom he regularly posts on his Instagram.

“I feel so grateful to have such an amazing family to come home to,” Aaron wrote alongside a photo of his family celebrating Thanksgiving in November 2022. “I’m missing 4 siblings from the party this year but you would never know it based on the size of the group. It’s times like these that you truly count your blessings in life and family is at the top of the list.”

However, Aaron is particularly close to Noah, calling him his “best friend” in his birthday greeting in November 2023.

“We may not look or act as much alike as we used to and everyone who knows us will tell you how different we are, but you will always be my best friend and the one who knows me like no one else can,” he wrote.

He is passionate about fitness and spreading positivity

Besides being an engineer, Aaron is also passionate about promoting mental health and positivity on his social media platforms. He often shares his workout routine and motivation to stay fit, while also sharing personal aspects of his life.

In 2023, Aaron began chronicling his daily cold dips in his pool, saying he would go in regardless of “whether I felt it or whether it was dark, cold, rainy, and snowy,” he wrote in a November 2023 post.

Two months later, Aaron responded to criticism that he was “thirsty-catching” by posting videos and photos of himself shirtless doing cold plunges. He said he was trying to be vulnerable and motivate people to stay committed to their goals, rather than focusing on his body.

“I post it to maybe encourage someone else or to get people to interact and tell me I’m weird or something,” he explained. “I post all these messages about you are not your body, your appearance doesn’t define you, it doesn’t matter how fit you are… deep down I just want to help people.”

He follows in his brother’s footsteps The Bachelorette

In his promotional video, Aaron said he was inspired to join The Bachelorette after seeing how the process worked for his brother.

“It worked for Noah, he’s engaged,” he said. “So I hope it works for me.”

“When you get comfortable and you think, hey, there’s nothing in life you want more than this, then I’m like, ‘Yeah, let’s do it,’” he added.
