The Paramount+ sci-fi drama ended on May 30, bringing an end to the crew of the USS Discovery

The crew of the USS Discovery served together on one final mission after five busy seasons of adventures through time and space.
The final episode of Star Trek: Discovery – which aired on Thursday, May 30 – picked up where the penultimate episode left off. After disappearing through a portal, Captain Michael Burham (Sonequa Martin-Green) woke up on a hanging platform that stretched into eternity, offering infinite gateways leading to other exotic worlds. She met Moll (Eve Harlow), and after exchanging punches, the two reluctantly teamed up to find the Progenitors’ technology, which was used to create humanoid life.
“I want you to trust me…I’ll give it to you Mine word,” Michael begged.

Michael and Moll eventually discovered the Progenitors’ inner sanctum: a surreal meadow of yellow flowers with a mysterious interface atop a pedestal. When Michael heard a faint voice message from Book (David Ajala), Moll knocked the distracted Starfleet captain unconscious and fiddled with the interface. She has clearly done something wrong as she is overwhelmed with energy and unable to move.
With Michael and Moll in the Progenitors’ realm, Discovery fought a swarm of Breen fighters by firing a slew of photon torpedoes that set the area on fire. Saru (Doug Jones), meanwhile, bluffed his way through a tense conversation with Breen Primarch Tamal and threatened to call on formidable allies – allies he didn’t have. Actually have – to attack the military bases of Tamal.
“Look me in the eye and tell me if you see even the slightest glimmer of doubt,” Saru said menacingly, before Tamal stood up.
When Michael regained consciousness, she pulled Moll away from the pedestal and taught her how to properly use the alien interface. After being transported to yet another plane, she met one of the Progenitors, who explained in their own enigmatic way that everything around them was actually created by another. even more old breed. The Progenitor also gave Michael the unenviable task of deciding what to do with all this advanced alien technology. Should she become the steward or leave everything behind and return to her ship?

On Discovery, Commander Rayner (Callum Keith Rennie) came up with a creative solution to get rid of the gigantic Breen dreadnought ship looming nearby. Using Discovery’s unique spore drive, which could transport them virtually anywhere in the universe, the crew transported the Breen dreadnought to a remote region of space, where it would take decades for the ship to find its way back find.
When Michael returned to Discovery, she explained to her stunned crew what had happened to her and why the alien technology had to be sent far away. “It’s too powerful for one person or one culture to have access to or control over,” she explained. Discovery then used its tractor beam to send it beyond the event horizon of a black hole, making it unreachable to anyone but the Progenitors themselves.
The remaining half hour of Discoveries of Star Trek The extra-grand finale was a love letter to the show’s loyal viewers. Returning to Starfleet headquarters, Michael met Dr. Kovich (David Cronenberg), who revealed his real identity: temporary agent Daniels, who appeared in an earlier film. Star Trek series, Star Trek: Enterprise.
On a quiet alien beach, as lights floated in the sky, Saru and T’Rina (Tara Rosling) were married, surrounded by friends and family. Outside the wedding reception, as the waves gently lapped against the sand, Michael and Burnham had a heart-to-heart. The couple decided to spend the rest of their lives together.

“You should know that I never stopped… I love you,” she admitted, finally adding, “Let’s see what the future holds.”
Decades later, Book and Michael, now a silver-haired Starfleet admiral, embraced in their beautiful, rustic wood-and-stone home. (If Architectural summary existed in the 31st century, their home would certainly be in it.) A space shuttle descended on their lawn, piloted by their adult son Leto (Sawandi Wilson), who had recently been promoted to captain. Leto transported his mother to Discovery, which was ready to embark on its final mission.
As Michael walked around the Discovery Bridge, she and the ship’s computer Zora talked. It seems that the discovery will travel to coordinates in space and stay there for a long time. long time, which essentially acts as a time capsule.

“Okay. Are you ready, Zora? One last time,” Michael said, before ordering the ship to continue sailing. “Let’s fly.”
As Discovery left the space dock, it was flanked by Federation starships and shuttles on either side, in a fitting divider. Discovery once again used his spore drive and transported himself to a resting place, where he will one day be found by a new generation of explorers with dreams of finding new life and boldly going where no one has gone before.
