Manchester United vs Newcastle LIVE! Premier League match stream, latest score and goal updates today

Manchester United vs Newcastle – LIVE!

Man Utd will be looking to avoid an unwanted record at Old Trafford tonight in their final Premier League home game of the season against Newcastle. Losing would condemn the Red Devils to a record tenth home defeat in a Premier League season, further increasing the pressure on under-fire manager Erik ten Hag.

They are on course for their lowest ever finishing position of eighth place, as well as their lowest points total. However, with three points they would be least likely to qualify for the Europa League in the final games of the season.

Newcastle has a poor record at the Theater of Dreams, but won the Carabao Cup here earlier this season. Yet Eddie Howe’s side have doubts over strikers Callum Wilson and Alexander Isak heading into a must-win game to fuel their own European hopes. Raphael Varane confirms Manchester United departure in the summer with an emotional farewell video

17:48 , Jonathan Gorrie

Manchester United have confirmed that Raphael Varane will leave the club this summer after three years.

The experienced French centre-back is out of contract at Old Trafford at the end of the current season and United recently decided not to exercise their option for an automatic 12-month extension, which would have him in Manchester until the summer of 2025 held.

Confirmation of Varane’s expected summer departure now comes first from the player himself via an emotional farewell video on his Instagram account, after which the Red Devils make an official statement.

The 29-year-old, who moved to Old Trafford from Sporting CP in January 2020, is a target for clubs in Saudi Arabia.

Standard sport understands that the centrally managed Saudi Pro League has targeted a number of United players ahead of a new round of heavy investment this summer.

Erik ten Hag ignores the suggestion that he will say goodbye to Manchester United at Old Trafford

17:39 , Jonathan Gorrie

Under fire Erik ten Hag does not believe that Manchester United’s match against Newcastle will be his last match in the Old Trafford dugout.

The 54-year-old’s future is the subject of widespread speculation given the way things have dramatically spiraled out of control after a promising first season in the hotseat.

Ten Hag has managed to lead injury-ravaged United to another FA Cup final against Manchester City, but their miserable league form has left his future in doubt as Ineos make major changes.
